Pakistan Floods

GEM Bstrong has officially deployed to Pakistan to give significant support to the victims of the historical flooding. 

Our teams consist of Aerial Recovery Group military rescue professionals, water rescue experts, local Pakistani partners, government support and our own GEM in-country representatives. We also plan to build in-country teams, as this model has proven itself to be most effective. 

These floods have already caused over 30 million people to be displaced, destroyed 500,000 homes and killed over 1,000 people, including including 348 children, and left 1,527 more injured. The floods are projected to inundate over 30 percent of the entire country. 

Our track record for international response to crisis speaks for itself, including our most recent work in Ukraine. GEM empowers countries by providing the necessary tools and support to meet their needs. GEM’s mission is to empower communities in crisis by building last mile distribution networks that deliver hope to the most vulnerable people on the planet.
